28 day Returns PolicyWe at shoesite.co.uk understand that when purchasing goods on the internet it is not unusual for the customer to want to return one or more items for various reasons. The most likely reasons are:
Our 28 day Returns policy is simple. All you have to do is pop the item(s) back into the bag or similar plastic envelope, cut the bottom of the invoice off, fill in the reason for return section and fold the return slip to reveal the return address label on the reverse side within 28 days of purchase. We will refund the price of the item(s) as soon as we receive the item(s) and if an alternative is required you can place a new order on the site where availability will be clearly shown. We can only give a refund if the item has not been worn and is in a saleable condition. If the need for the item to be returned was our fault, this would be if the item was faulty or if we had sent a different item to what was ordered, then we would refund the return postage but in all other cases the customer would bear the cost. |

How will my payment appear on my credit card statement ?Your transaction will appear on your statement as 'WWW.SHOESITE.CO.UK HOLT GBR' or variation of. On some statements the transaction will appear to be present twice but this is because the Authenticate and Authorise method we use first checks the funds are available and then takes the money when we send the items out (the money is only taken once). All the prices on the website are inclusive of UK VAT charged at 17.5% on adults' shoes and other goods and 0% on children's shoes. |

Delivery costs on the website?The standard postage and packing cost is FREE for Royal Mail Recorded Delivery and this can take up to 5 working days and we offer an option of £5.95 for Royal Mail Special Delivery which is a Next Day Service if the order is placed between Monday and Thursday before 3pm, if the order is placed after 3pm it will normally take 2 days and if it is placed between Friday and Sunday it will normally arrive on the following Tuesday. If we have to split an order due to stock availability we will only charge for delivery (if paid) on the first part of the order we send out. |

Is the item I want in stock?Behind the scenes we go to great lengths to keep the availability of stock as up to date as possible and display this information on the site as clearly as possible. On the product pages you will see drop down boxes showing the different sizes of the shoes. Generally we only show the sizes which are currently in stock but if someone has just bought the last pair it will show but with the words out of stock next to it and the background will be red instead of green.

Are my payment details secure on your site?You will not be asked for any credit card details whilst actually on our site, instead you will be transferred to the SagePay secure website to enter your card and address details. SagePay is owned by Sage who are one of the largest accounting software companies in the world. If the item(s) on the order are in stock SagePay will take payment but if part or all of the order is out of stock SagePay will pre-authorise the transaction but money will only be taken from your credit card when the shoes are actually sent out to you. We do not store your credit card details in our database. |
